Genoa Homecoming –Comets in the Cosmos – May 30th - June 1st

The Homecoming Committee is once again busy planning this year’s annual Homecoming Celebration to be held from Thursday, May 30th – Saturday, June 1st. Our goal, as always, is to provide wholesome family entertainment, encourage togetherness, patriotism, and good old fashioned fun.

This year our Homecoming Committee has chosen ‘Comets in the Cosmos’ as our theme.

Festivities will begin Thursday evening with our annual car show on Main Street followed by Name That Tune in the entertainment tent.

Friday evening will commence with our annual Grand Parade, which will include high school bands, floats and area organizations. After the parade, amusement rides will be running, cheese curds will be frying and refreshments will be flowing in the entertainment tent while bands entertain with live music.

Saturday’s activities include a 5k Run, home run derbies, & corn hole tournament among other activities scattered around our beautiful Veteran’s Park. At dusk, Pyrotecnico will once again dazzle our eyes with their spectacular fireworks display.

As you might imagine, sponsoring an event of this size is quite expensive. We are requesting donations to help us put on this special event for our Village. We understand that this event can only take place with the generous support of our community.  Your support is greatly appreciated and we look forward to continuing the great Genoa tradition that is the Genoa Homecoming.
